EPDM Circular Roof Outlet with perforated flange to improve adhesion to the bituminous membranes. The shaft has a length of 250mm and available in sizes to fit downpipe diameters of 40mm to 200mm.

Description

This EPDM Circular Outlet has the function of connecting the waterproof roofing felts with rainwater downpipe drains. The slightly conical shape enables fast and simple installation in rain water drains. It has a flange with perforations to improve adhesion to the bituminous membranes. They have a series of rings on the shank which act as a drain‐trap between the connector and the rain water drain.

Features and benefits:

Flexible, tough EPDM shape is inserted into drainage hole and bonded and / or mechanically fixed to the waterproofing membrane in a sandwich application.
Recessed allowing water flow to enter pipes immediately.
Slope allows for faster flow.
Corner fitting and flange can be sandwiched between two layers of waterproofing membrane.
Perforated flange to aid bonding with adhesive.
Outlet shape is placed onto the rubber waterproofing and bonded using adhesive. Adhesive will ooze through the perforations to achieve an over-and-under bond.
Drainage outlet is protected by having additional layer and fully sealed.
A patch of waterproofing is installed above the outlet flange and fully bonded completely over the top to ensure area is watertight.
A round leaf guard should be inserted into top of hole once installed.
Always prime both the outlet shape and the waterproofing membrane before installation.
