The Buckland Hospital, Dover is a community hospital that provides a range of local services. Main contractor Interserve PLC enlisted Industrial Construction (Sussex) Ltd to install the roofing and cladding package. Fixfast products were the first choice for ICS and the Facade Support range was an obvious need for this type of contract; coupled with the DrillFast® Stainless and Lacquered products, the external roofing and cladding was installed in the finest possible manner.The external walls use a range of materials - black brick and through-coloured render serve as a background for two types of cladding panels: white fibre cement panels and timber laminated panels manufactured from kraft paper and finished with natural timber veneers. The dark colour of the brick is used as a medium to enhance the crisp lines of the bright cladding as well as the shape and colours of the wooded bank at the rear of the building.

TSL secured the contract to install the rainscreen façade at Colbourne Place, a prestigious apartment block in Woking. Expanding Exeter College's 700-year-old campus in the heart of Oxford was a privilege given to Alison Brooks Architects: developing Cohen Quad, a hub for students including living accommodation for 90, an auditorium, seminar rooms, social learning spaces, an archive, a café, roof terraces, offices, and fellows' accommodation.Student rooms and fellows' studies are enclosed by patterned stainless steel that folds across wall and roof surfaces, sitting on a stone-clad 'base' that houses the quads' public spaces.The Rimex tiling in the checkerboard pattern really highlights the stunning dormer windows and the beautiful curve of the tiles from the roofline wrap around the roof and down the walls creating a seamless cloak around the building. 17,000 iridescent stainless steel shingles adorn this roof, and the tiles are of a wonderful muted bronze and champagne colour with an unusual texture - catching - but not reflecting the sunlight. The Riverside Resource Recovery Facility is the largest project of its kind in the UK. The Flower Bowl Entertainment Centre was awarded the New Tourism Business prize at the Lancashire Tourism Awards - an award recognises The Flower Bowl as a high performing new business with a great understanding of the marketplace and further opportunities for development. The unusual living rooftop feature has been part of The Flower Bowl plan at the outset, with the ultimate goal to enable sheep to graze there. The roof had been designed with the sheep in mind, however, the logistics of making a roof ‘sheep-safe’ are extremely complex. The 4,200m2 specialist roof is one of a kind and was created with 700 tonnes of topsoil and grass, with all the perimeters all held back with the EdgeGuard living roof retaining system.
