25 North Colonnade is a commercial building in Canary Wharf, London formerly occupied by the Financial Conduct Authority, after having been solely occupied by its predecessor, the Financial Services Authority (FSA) until early 2013. It is 80 metres (262 ft) tall, with 15 floors. Built in 1991, developed by architect John McAslan + Partners. Gensler’s design elevates the commercial office building to new prominence creating a new destination for employees, tourists and residents alike. Effisus Vapour FR Class A2 system was used to prevent the condensation risk, improving the airtightness and consequently the energy efficiency of the building.

Gracing the banks of the River Thames in the heart of historic Westminster, 9 Millbank is a landmark residential address that captures the very essence of British Luxury and style, developed by Eric Parry Architects. Effisus solutions were used in order to protect the façade building from environmental factors. Breather FR Class A1 membrane was used to protect the façade elements against moisture, driving rain and wind avoiding corrosion, insulation deterioration and mould growth. Vapour FR Class A1 membrane was used to prevent the condensation risk, improving the airtightness and consequently the energy efficiency of the building.

The property, that has been renamed Axis, has four floors and an amazing facade, composed by a structure of beams and supports that cross diagonally. A feature that allows to minimize energy costs, because of the large stainless steel and glass cube that uses the latest technologies to combine a transparent facade with an outer mesh. Effisus Ecofacade SA Edge membranes were used on this project for sealing facade connections. Effisus Pre-Fab True Seal, a pre-fabricated sealing solution, was developed and applied for sealing difficult facade 3D details, minimizing human error possibility.

Is an upcoming development by Damac Properties, that will be located in the heart of Business Bay, Dubai. The development will be home to an impressive mix of residential units, hotel rooms, and office space. Fire safety was a priority on this project. It was used the Effisus Vapour FR System, that works as a vapour control layer, protecting the building from condensation risk and improving the airtightness and consequently the energy efficiency, and the Effisus Bonding KF+P, an innovative bonding solvent free, with exceptional properties of adhesiveness, waterproofing and UV resistance.

Aykon London One is London’s luxury venture and the first of its kind in Europe. It was designed in partnership with the iconic fashion house Versace Home. Its residents will be able to enjoy the magnificent urban landscapes as well as the serenity of its private winter gardens. The building’s design make Aykon London One, the most exclusive real estate investments in London. In this new project the Effisus Breather B membrane was used for moisture management and protection of the façade against damp, and Adjoin TI tapes for the sealing of overlap joints between membranes.

Battersea Power Station’s incredible rebirth will see it transformed into one of the most exciting and innovative mixed-use neighborhoods in the world, comprising unique homes designed by internationally renowned architects, set amidst the best shops, restaurants, offices, green space, and spaces for the arts. The Effisus Ecofacade Envelope Systems is being applied at this iconic project in order to assure the most efficient façade weathertight system.

Developed as three separate buildings, the existing tower is being refurbished as high quality apartments with offices and retail, whilst the podium is being replaced with new offices and roof garden. With a fully glazed lobby, a reduced and rationalized core cased in luscious marble and innovative dark bronze-cased windows which sit in the steel frame. The building will be 80% more energy efficient when complete. Effisus Ecofacade Pre-fab Profiles were used to seal façade connections – not only to protect the building from water damage, but also to improve building airtightness and energy efficiency.

The 80 Charlotte Street buildings were designed by Make Architects. 80 Charlotte Street is the largest building at 323,000 sq ft. The two other buildings total 12,000 sq ft of retail areas and 45,000 sq ft of residential space. The development, which began in 2011, is set to be completed in 2019. Arup is the anchor tenant for the new development and will take approx. 41% of the main building for new office spaces. Effisus Pre-Fab Profiles was used to seal connections on the façade system assuring watertight and airtight façade connections.

Originally known as Britannic House or Britannic Tower, was the former headquarters of the oil company British Petroleum, with 35 floors and 122m. Its structure began to be “outdated” with the passing of the years, while home prices in the area began a rapid ascent. In the early 90’s the oil moved to its former headquarters in Finsbury Circus. In order to protect the façade elements against moisture, driving rain and wind avoiding corrosion, insulation deterioration and mould growth, Effisus Breather FR System was applied.

This development includes a tower that will exceed the height of the Burj Khalifa, and a sanctuary development with exclusive villas and a canal district. Sustainability is at the heart of development, with a road and transport network designed to minimize environmental impact, as well as various ecological initiatives, including artificial forests and open green spaces. In this project, it is being used the A2 Class fire rated weatherproofing membrane Effisus Vapour FR to protect façade from environmental agents with superior fire resistance, and the bi-adhesive tape Effisus 2Bond DS, to seal the connections on the façades.

The purpose of this development is making the re-cladding of an existing building removing Aluminium Composite Material insulation and cement particle board and replacement with new 3mm aluminium cladding and associated works. The new building will include a mixed tenure unit of 138 one, two and three bed apartments. It’s design was developed by the PRP Architects. Its design was developed by the PRP Architects. In order to protect the façade building from moisture, driving rain and wind the solution Effisus A2 Fire Rated Breather FR System was applied, using an A1 Fire Rated Breather FR Membrane.

Conceived and developed by Knight Dragon, and designed by eight leading architects, this project collection of 16 unique buildings supports an ecosystem of 1,800 creatives, individual makers, ambitious start-ups, ground-breaking enterprises and industry leaders. Effisus partnered with London-based and award-winning Adam Khan Architects consulting on Façade Weatherproofing. The two buildings designed by Adam Khan are very different from each other, one a raw monolith of concrete and the other a lightweight building with an Op Art-inspired façade. Effisus Vapour FR membrane Class A1 was chosen to protect the insulation and building interior.

Glasgow Harbour is one of Clyde Waterfront regeneration projects. This regeneration development will benefit Glasgow and Scotland economically and socially. Major infrastructure works have been carried out along the Expressway at Glasgow Harbour with £25 million spent on local roads improvements. In addition to its residential and commercial facilities, Glasgow Harbour also have features around 50 acres of open public space, and approximately 3km of waterfront walkways. Effisus A1 Fire Rated Breather FR Membrane, was the chosen membrane to protect the new façade against moisture, driving rain and wind.

Harbour Central is one of the most recent developments in Canary Wharf, one of London’s two financial centres. There will be 5 residential buildings and a leisure complex. The main building of the development will be the Maine Tower with 42 floors. The upper floors are quite promising, as they will comprise breath-taking panoramic views of London. The Effisus Breather breathable membrane was the chosen solution for this project, in order to ensure the watertightness of the façade, and, at the same time, to allow ventilation of the façades components.

The idea behind the project was to explore a new usage for the main exhibition hall and replace the administrative wing and develop it from a residential point of view. The project sits at the southern end of Holland Park and occupies an area of 30.000 m2. Effisus weatherproofing solutions and Consulting Services have been integrated throughout the project, aiming to maximize the building’s energy efficiency and air quality. Some of the Effisus solutions installed were: Effisus Ecofacade Membrane, Effisus Breather+ Membrane, Effisus VAP Vapor Control Barrier, Effisus Bonding KF Adhesive and Effisus 2Bond GO Tape.

Hudson Yards is the largest private real estate development in the history of the U.S.. Hudson Yards will dramatically transform a vast desolate space into New York’s next great neighborhood. It will include more than 18 million square feet of commercial and residential space, state-of-the-art office towers, more than 100 shops, and a collection of restaurants. Effisus Ecofacade P-Fix, a solution with clip-in gaskets for waterproofing facade connections, is being applied on site, improving the buildings’ envelope efficiency and sustainability.

Kensington Row is a residential development of apartments and penthouses in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London W14, design by the architect company Squire and Partners. The development comprises 160 apartments over 4 blocks and the flats are a mix of private and social rented. In order, to protect the façade elements and ensuring the protection of the building against driving rain and moisture increasing the building energy efficiency minimizing the condensation risk, Effisus Vapour FR and Breather FR Class A1 Membrane so as Effisus Ecofacade P-Fix, were applied.

Most of Kingston University buildings were built between the 1950s and 1970s, so it is comprehensive that most of them are deteriorating, and running out of energy efficient. That’s why Kingston University decided to invest in their campus, maintaining its competitive position in the market. The new buildings will be environmentally sustainable, and flexible in order to be adapted to future teaching needs. Effisus Ecofacade P-Fix was applied in order to protect buildings’ facade connections from the deteriorating effects of atmospheric agents, at the same time maximizing its energy efficiency saving both waste and error application.

Completely restructured, the building is BREEAM Good, certified by BBC Effinergie Rénovation and HQE Rénovation Très Bien. With its partners, was chose a bold architecture that meets the challenges of the future, anticipates future developments, considering all its dimensions. Several Effisus solutions were used in this project: Effisus Ecofacade, to ensure water and air tightness of all facade elements connections, the waterproofing adhesive Effisus Bonding KF, the facade joint sealing solution for rainwater with pressures up to 600Pa Effisus Sealexpand XTRA 600 and also the multifunction double-sided butyl-based sealing tape Effisus 2Bond GO.

London Wall Place is a new development, with more than 500.000m2, located in the heart of London, between Moorgate and Barbican. This development is comprised by two commercial buildings and will add a large green area to the city. The largest building has about 300.000m2 and rises to a height of 12 floors, and the remaining building, with about 12.000m2, has 16 floors. For this project’s façade weatherproofing, three Effisus solutions were used: Effisus VAP (vapour barrier), Effisus Breather+ (breathable membrane) and Effisus 2Bond DS (double-sided solution for sealing between two surfaces).

On January 2006, the Secretary of State granted the permission for the project, and the developer was really confident that it will be completed by 2013, but it got delayed because of the economic downturn. This is a £1 billion scheme and it is considered “the biggest riverside development on the north bank of the Thames for over 100 years”, creating 106 homes. The Louvre Post Office is an iconic building in the 1st Arrondissement, in the heart of Paris. The purpose of the project is really to keep postal activities in the heart of Paris. It aims also to enhance the spatial qualities of this building with a mixed-use program. Effisus Ecofacade P-Fix and Effisus Pre-Fab TrueSeal were integrated at this project. Effisus Ecofacade P-Fix is a solution for waterproofing facade connections. Effisus Pre-Fab TrueSeal is a pre-fabricated bespoke sealing solution.

The development for this village, forms part of a wider masterplan for the Sackville Road site in Hove. In this project includes 260 flats plus communal areas, including restaurants, bar bistro, swimming pool and well-being area, events space, gym, shop and village hall. Graunt Francis Architects Director, Toby Adam, said: “This will be a transformational scheme for this under-utilised site in Hove. We look forward to the next steps with excitement”. The building will be complete this year, in order to support the growing demand for skilled workers in the Manchester region, for the creative, digital and tech sector. The project was design by FCBStudios, embracing digital innovation and UX lab, film studios, green screens, edit suites, music and production studios, alongside a screening room and gallery space. Effisus Breather FR-B System was appiled to ensure the protection of the building against driving rain and moisture preventing future corrosion, insulation deterioration and mould growth at the same time it increases the building energy efficiency and minimizes the condensation risk.

The 760,000 sq ft development will bring the Old War Office back into use, creating a world class 5-star hotel and 85 apartments. Works will include developing a six storey basement and constructing a three storey roof extension. The venue has been designed by UK-based EPR Architects, with the hotel interiors designed by New York-based designer Thierry Despont, and the residences by 1508 London. A1 Fire Rated Breather and Vapour FR Membranes were used to protect the insulation and building interior, maximizing its energy efficiency and value.

The Redmonds Building provides the university with a state-of-the-art home for the Faculty of Business and Law, the Liverpool Screen School and the university’s new Professional Centre. The work is taking places in phases over a two-year period and will replace the cladding on the outside of the building. The external works are scheduled to be completed in summer 2021. Fire protection is a main concern for this project and Effisus Breather FR, a fire-resistant breathable membrane, was the chosen membrane for protection of the new façade against moisture, driving rain and wind.

The Sky View development is a mixed-use twin-tower complex, with a Hotel, residences and serviced apartments, in downtown Dubai. The new landmark will be known as the figurative gateway to Downtown Dubai. The development has an unique view, with the Burj Khalifa (the world’s tallest building) on one side, and the Arabian Gulf on the other. The chosen solution for sealing the towers’ facade connections as Effisus Ecofacade, in order to protect the towers against water damage and to improve their energy efficiency.

Located riverside, closed to Westminster and the London Eye, Southbank Place combines a perfect location with architectural quality, celebrating the heritage and history of its surroundings. For this project’s façade, and its intricate interfacing details, it was used the Effisus Pre-fab TrueSeal solution – a bespoke solution that assures a perfect sealing of complex details. Effisus Ecofacade Membranes and Effisus Pre-fab Corners, as well as Effisus Breather + Membrane, were used to achieve a complete façade weatherproofing.

Spinnaker House is a residential building located at Battersea Reach, with views over the River Thames. It was designed by Broadway Malyan Architecture firm, with a contemporary specification, including full heigh glazing to enhance natural daylight. The location of the building is very attractive, because it offers prime transport links to London´s most fashionable area. In order to protect the façade building from moisture, driving rain and wind the solution Effisus A2 Fire Rated Breather FR System was applied, using an A1 Fire Rated Breather FR Membrane.
