OVERVIEWThis project we provided 3 of our Series 2 non penetrating platforms with Soundshield acoustic screens to effectively house a range of HVAC equipment on the roof. The equipment internally acts as ballast for the enclosures to cope with wind loading. Using the load-sharing plant deck as a base meant that the equipment could be craned in and easily placed anywhere on the deck, without having to worry about point loading to the roof. OVERVIEWOn this excellent project Configured Platforms supplied Morgan Sindall Construction with 370m² of Series 1 platform with Soundshield backed Standard Screens which were polyester powder-coated to a number of different colours to align with the architectural and planning requirements. The platform was designed to suit the saw-tooth roof finish, with a clamp arrangement at every 600mm along the roof seams and with the platform wedges on every seam at 400mm centres, meaning the whole platform remains non-penetrating whilst clamped to the roof. OverviewOn the roof of this project, there are four TRANE heat exchangers and a technical room. One floor below are rooftop terraces. OVERVIEWOn the roof of this project, there are two heat pumps and an air handling unit. On the floor below, the 19th floor, there are private and shared rooftop terraces.
