Description

Tonality terracotta tiles are a lightweight alternative to other terracotta products, with low dead weight of only 28–35 kg/m². Tonality use 100% Westerwald clay which is the highest quality on the market and offer all round durability (service life in excess of 35 years as per the BBA).


Produced using the Keralis sinter kiln firing process, we are able to offer a wide range of colours and textures.


Thanks to Tonality's sinter firing process the ceramic elements receive an even, smooth and dense surface. Chose from a variety of standard surface finishes and profiled tiles such as stripes, waves and grooved.


Tonality is also available in lamella, baguette and brise soleil shapes.

Only standardized or technically approved, type WAB (external thermal insulation for use beneath cladding) may be used in accordance with DIN 4108-10:2008-06 for thermal insulation in rear-ventilated rainscreen facades.

Manufacturer guidance

Facade insulation panels must be installed fitting tightly together in formation, between the substrate and insulation layer in accordance with structural standards or manufacturer’s specifications. They must be mechanically attached using insulation fasteners ('fixing pins‘) and must be tightly connected to adjacent building components.
