Application

Ceiling mounted loft eaves access door.

Description

Zintec steel access door which helps to utilize the storage space in loft eaves while maintaining insulation and draft protection.

Eaves access doors offer high insulation and have undergone rigorous air testing with a U-Value of only 0.35 W/(m²·K) (compliant with the current regulations for lofts in accordance with Part L of UK Building Regulations).

The entire range has a fire rating of 60 minutes (tested on the face side only, following BS476: Part 22: 1987) and provides sound reduction of 36 dB.

Each eaves door is handcrafted in the United Kingdom, delivered pre-finished and ready for installation.

Insulated with mineral wool slab and fitted with draught seals between the door and the frame and on the back edge of the frame.
Finished in a durable white powder-coat, colour RAL 9016.
Fitted with two quarter turn locks with chamfered cam to provide compression between door and seal when operated. Key to suit provided.
