Description
Unlike single skin fire shutters, this model provides radiant heat protection. Due to the construction of the shutters, the radiant heat levels around the roller shutter door drop from 65 kW/m² to 2.7 kW/m². This means that even combustible materials can be stored half a metre away from a 1200°C inferno – handy if floor space is an issue. Fire crews can safely tackle the blaze right next to the door and anyone unfortunate enough to be trapped without an immediate exit can safely walk past the roller shutter.
