Newton 104 is applied to the surface of concrete to provide in-depth protection against the movement of moisture through the capillaries and hairline cracks within the concrete. It consists of Portland cement, specially treated quartz sand and a compound of active chemicals. Newton 104 is supplied in powdered form and is either sprinkled onto fresh concrete or is mixed with water as a carrier and brush applied as a slurry for application to fully cured or older concrete or vertical surfaces.

Newton 106 FlexProof is a highly advanced, single component, waterproofing compound for the waterproofing of joints that is supplied in two variants: Newton 106 FlexProof-X1 is a highly viscous, thixotropic paste that is suitable for the waterproofing of construction and vertical movement joints, whilst Newton 106 FlexProof-NV has a lower viscosity and so is pourable and better suited where the application is to horizontal movement joints. Both variants form an elastomeric polymer that is rainproof in minutes and capable of handling severe building movements and deformations.

Newton 107F is a two-component, cementitious, polymer-rich coating for the waterproofing and protection of concrete and masonry. Capable of withstanding heads of water pressure to 10 bar, both positively and negatively. Newton 107F is ideally suited to the waterproofing of reservoirs, tunnels, water tanks, basements, podium decks, at roofs, balconies and terraces, and is especially capable where the structure has both masonry and concrete elements where differential movement is expected.

Newton 108 HydroBond-LM is a cold spray-applied, seamless, rubber waterproofing membrane for the external waterproofing of basements and foundation walls. Normally specified as part of our HydroBondTM System in conjunction with Newton 403 HydroBond, the membrane can also be used on its own, terminating to raft or strip foundations. 108 HydroBond-LM is very quick to apply, at up to 1000m2 per day, and is not subject to the delays normally associated with liquid membranes as it can be applied in cooler and damper conditions and in most cases without a primer.

Newton 109-LM is a flexible, single-component, cold-applied, seamless rubber waterproofing membrane with a number of uses for the external waterproofing of basements, foundation walls, decks, and flat roofs. Newton 109-LM is also adept as a detailing membrane for the termination and jointing of other Newton waterproofing products, and with its very high adhesive properties it is the perfect primer for adhesion of butyl products to concrete and mortar. Applied by brush, roller or airless spray machine, Newton 109-LM can be applied in cool and damp conditions and without a primer.

Newton 110 WATstop is a three-component, fibre-reinforced cement/epoxy product that, when mixed, produces a workable mortar suitable for surface repair and surface smoothing. With the addition of up to 40% water, a paint/slurry-like consistency can be achieved that is suitable for numerous applications including the damp proofing of walls and slabs and the waterproofing of concrete structures, as well as being a primer for a number of Newton System 100 Liquid Waterproofing products.

Single-component, fast-setting, Portland cement-based structural mortar, used primarily for the durable repair of concrete. Ideal for roads, runways, bridges, decks, floors and footpaths. Polymer-modified, and fibre-reinforced, Newton 203-RM is physically and chemically compatible with the host concrete, quickly exhibiting high adhesive and compressive strength. As a single component, requiring only the addition of water, the resulting mortar is rapid curing with enhanced polymeric properties and reliable strength development which is not significantly affected by low temperature use. The mortar can be used as supplied up to 100mm deep, or bulked out with clean, washed, sharp sand to form a high performance screed or for floor or deck repairs up to maximum depth of 300mm.

Newton 301 EasyProof is a coated metal waterbar system used for the sealing of construction joints within retained concrete structures. Newton 301 EasyProof features a flexible, adherent coating on one side, which is covered with a granular material.The rough coating creates a permanent watertight seal with the surrounding concrete to create a waterbar that works immediately, without requiring activation by water as required with hydrophilic waterbars.

Newton 306 SwellMastic is a high-quality, firm, fast-curing, swellable, single-component, polymeric adhesive sealant. The special composition of Newton 306 SwellMastic makes the sealant start to swell when in contact with water (to about 150% of original size). The sealant has high elasticity and high adherence and it develops a strong adhesive tensile strength immediately after application. The first swelling is time delayed which allows Newton 306 SwellMastic to be applied to slightly damp surfaces.

Newton 308 Stopaq is a single component highly flexible compound used for the sealing of conduit and pipes through service duct sleeves. Newton 315 Polymer-Waterbar is a hydrophilic, acrylate polymer waterbar, which swells when activated by moisture. It is characterised by high elasticity and high tensile strength. Newton 315 Polymer-Waterbar can be used to seal the structure against water leaks to both cast-in-place concrete and precast construction joints. ACCREDITATIONS & APPROVALS 10 mm and 5 mm profile variants of Newton 315 Polymer-Waterbar are supported by Kiwa BCAC Certificate BCAC-17-002 and is accepted by the NHBC as a suitable waterbar Type B Waterproofing to Grades 1, 2 & 3 - BS 8102:2009.

Newton 403 HydroBond is a very high performance composite sheet membrane that features a locking fleece to one side and a polymer hydrophilic coating to the other. When placed below the new raft or against permanent or temporary timber wall formwork, the fibres of the fleece inner core are encapsulated into the concrete, forming a close and intimate bond. The membrane becomes fully-engaged into the concrete to prevent water tracking and is suitable for all belowground and earth-retained structures, ranging from domestic basements to the largest civil engineering projects. The hydrophilic coating expands when in contact with water and seals small holes that may be accidentally formed during fixing of the reinforcing steel or the pouring and compaction of the concrete.
