MuteBoard™

MuteBoard™ is a slim and practical acoustic board for wall soundproofing where space is limited, you can use it for the reduction of ambient noise levels when applied directly to brick, block or stud frames, or even raised noise issues that can range from intrusive conversation to televisions when installing on an isolated stud frame. MuteBoard™ is available in a variety of thicknesses: MuteBoard™ 2 – 19mm, MuteBoard™ 3 – 25mm and MuteBoard™ 4 – 27mm. These vary in acoustic performance and can be installed in a variety of ways, such as on decoupled stud frames, internal stud frames to split multiple rooms, or alternatively when you need to be conservative with space by directly installing them to your brick/block wall. Different installation methods will also vary the acoustic performance of the boards.

MuteClip® LP with MuteClip® Channel

MuteClip® LP (Low Profile) is our sound isolation clip for ceilings that is unique in its design with its dual density rubber isolators, each carefully designed and assembled to improve noise reduction over a broad range of frequencies while remaining stable and consistent with every MuteClip® LP. The adopted low profile helps to reduce the loss of room height while maintaining the same performance as the standard MuteClip®, it is installed into the side of the joist so that the MuteClip® Channel runs parallel to, and is sufficiently lower than the joist to attach the next layer of the system to. The MuteClip® LP systems are designed to minimise the points of contact with the joists while creating a system that is easy to install with little to no error due to the accomplished design. The use of MuteClip® LP within a ceiling partition achieves excellent soundproofing against both impact and airborne noise on a wide range of projects.

MuteClip® with MuteClip® Channel

MuteClip® is an acoustic sound isolation clip that can be used on walls and ceilings. It is unique in its design as it features a dual density rubber isolator, that has been carefully designed and assembled to improve noise reduction over a broad range of frequencies while remaining stable and consistent with every MuteClip®. With only a single fixing required per clip, the system minimises the points of contact with the partition and creates an easy to install soundproofing solution with little to no error due to the design. With these properties working in tandem, you will achieve excellent soundproofing against both impact and airborne noise in a wide range of applications.

MuteClip® XP with MuteClip® Channel

MuteClip® XP (Extended Profile) is an acoustic sound isolation clip for ceilings that is unique in its design with its dual density rubber isolators, each carefully designed and assembled to improve noise reduction over a broad range of frequencies while remaining stable and consistent with every MuteClip® XP. The extended profile helps to accommodate varying joist depths whilst maintaining the same performance as the standard MuteClip®, it is installed onto the required depths on the inside of the joist, creating an efficient and streamlined way to ensure a suited levelling of the ceiling instead of building a new framework or resulting to ad-hoc methods of installation. The MuteClip® XP systems look to minimise the points of contact with the joists while creating an easy to install system with little to no error due to the accomplished design. The use of MuteClip® XP within a ceiling partition achieves excellent soundproofing against both impact and airborne noise on a wide range of projects.

MuteCradle™ with MuteBatten

MuteCradle™ is our dual height acoustic cradle system that offers a floating floor system that isolates away from concrete and timber floors, effective for the reduction of both impact and airborne sound. MuteCradle™ is available in two depths 16/30mm and 45/60mm and with the use of MuteCradle™ packers it allows you to produce a flat floor without the use of self-levelling screed. A screed layer can often be an impractical solution due to the long drying times, the use of sizeable machinery and the cure times. Our MuteCradle™ Packers come in a range of sizes to help in fine-tuning any unevenness in the concrete floor.

MuteMat®

MuteMat® is a flexible and high performing acoustic matting for floor soundproofing, its application is perfect for rooms that are limited in available space and features strong performance against both airborne and impact noise. It is suited for both timber and concrete structures, and it is both slim and straightforward to install. To achieve the best possible solution for soundproofing, you will need to incorporate them into 'Systems'. MuteMat® is suited for almost any floor finish including luxury vinyl tiles and engineered wood. Each offers ways of increasing acoustic performance, for example, fitting it on top of acoustic cradles to create a fully floating floor, or by adding them to joist structures alongside sound insulation for a vast improvement for airborne and impact noise, or use in concrete buildings as a standalone for impact reduction. MuteMat® is available in either a 2 layer mat or a 3 layer mat.

MuteMat® Gym

MuteMat® Gym is our highly engineered, gym soundproofing solution. When used in a system it offers an optimal level of protection against both impact transmission and structural borne vibration. This product is suitable for professional and commercial gyms, small personal gyms at home and even gyms located in the workplace. MuteMat® Gym has a hard wearing durable top layer with a lower density base that helps to 'cushion' significant levels of impact noise and vibration. For each acoustic material, you will often find that to achieve specified levels of sound insulation you may need to combine them with other additional elements to create a complete soundproofing system that meets all your needs. Our MuteMat® Gym systems have a top layer, which can then be acoustically improved by incorporating a base layer depending on the acoustic requirements and available space.

MuteMat® OSF

MuteMat® OSF is our highly effective and slimline resilient layer available for managing the reduction of impact noise in over screed concrete constructions. MuteMat® OSF comes in 3 mm, 5 mm and 10 mm thicknesses. MuteMat® OSF has a highly recycled rubber content, helping to reduce the impact on the planets ever-growing carbon footprint. Its density which results in minimal compression is a key component to providing a robust flooring layer even when it is subjected to high loads, giving you a long lasting and effective solution that can receive a wide range of floor finishes, with no requirement for an overlay, this includes delicate flooring finishes such as ceramic tiling.

MuteMat® USP

MuteMat® USP is our robust pimpled acoustic under screed designed for achieving the maximum level of impact reduction between the floating concrete screed and structural concrete slab layers. Its high performance comes from its deviated pimpled structure which is found at both 8 mm and 17 mm - helping to secure minimum points of contact between the two concrete layers. As a dense and robust product, it maintains a low level of compressibility and when subjected to high loads it maintains its acoustic performance making it suitable for a wide range of applications in residential, commercial and industrial structures, especially where particular low-frequency noise issues and machinery operation is concerned.

Tecsound®

Tecsound® is a flexible, easy to handle and high performing acoustic membrane for all your soundproofing needs. It is a feature in many of our acoustic systems and is suited for timber and concrete structures with particular focus on the 'muting' of vibration in metal structures. Tecsound® is a visco-elastic membrane, and this means it is both a viscous material, part way between a solid and a liquid, having elastic properties, meaning that it returns to its original form when stress is within its limits, like pulling an elastic band, if you pull it too hard it will break. Tecsound® is primarily designed to be installed within acoustic systems (often laminated between two layers of plasterboard) or used to be directly applied to metal cladding to dampen vibration.
