Stratobel Strong

A laminated glass sheet created with additional safety considerations.

Upon request, it is also possible to laminate sheets of Planibel Colour or coated glass products.

Features and benefits:

• Incorporates a plastic film that is 100 times more rigid than the PVB interlayers usually used in conventional safety and security glazing.
• Its stronger composition means enhanced mechanical properties including higher load capacity and lower glass deflection under load.
• Strong PVB adhesion to the glass results in lower sensitivity to moisture and better edge stability.
• Developed exclusively for AGC, this special PVB film also features a perfectly neutral appearance that does not alter the colour of the glass whatsoever. This is especially noticeable when the highly transparent Planibel Clearvision is used in the Stratobel Strong assembly.
• Typically specified for free-standing (rail system) glazed balustrade. The special interlayer within the laminated glass provides safety and security properties, resistance to moisture and an excellent, fully transparent aesthetic. 
• Can be applied to vertical and horizontal applications.
