A rolling shutter of the highest available security level, for use on sites such as government premises, police stations, banks and utilities supply installations. The shutters have been tested by the Loss Prevention Certificate Board and awarded 'Secured By Design'. The shutter is tested to LPS 1175 (7.0) and is security rated at SR4. Internal face-fix installation only. CE marked to harmonized product standard BS EN 13241-1.

Curtain slat:

  • Double skin carbon steel with 81 mm face. Wall thickness 1.2 mm. Concealed reinforcement bars and security end locks fitted.
  • Standard galvanized finish. Colour finishes available on request. Plastisol range or polyester powder coated.

Shutter height:

Guide channels/ bottom slat:

  • Bottom slat is identical to other slats in appearance for shutters under 3 m in width.

  • Standard galvanized finish, other colours on request.
  • Guide channels are bolted onto 100 x 50 x 6 mm angle.

Locking mechanisms:

Incorporates a bullet locking system situated 1 m from ground level, fixed to each guide channel; side anchors inside guide; reinforcement bars through the walls of the slat; transverse ground locking system on shutters over 3 m wide. Lock isolator kits available to prohibit operation of the shutter whilst in the locked position.

Electric – single-phase tubular motor or external motor in single or three-phase with push button control. High security wired or wireless keypad for installations on the 'attack' face of an opening (only approved switches may be used on the external face of an opening).
