Bullnose-profile board for edges of decks and steps.
The Bullnose Board is a 150 mm-wide edging with a bullnosed front edge. It is a rigid product used for straight runs on edges of decks, steps and seating.
Installation:
The Bullnose boards would normally be fully supported along their entire length but can span up to 400 mm centres and should be installed with two Durafix screws every 300 mm.
The maximum overhang of the Bullnose board is 40 mm from the front of the fascia. Both the standard deck boards (32 mm) and the thinner fascia board (16 mm) can be used as a fascia under this product. The maximum size of cut-out for LED lighting under this board should be 17 x 9 mm and should be a minimum of 11 mm from the front of the board edge.
The Bullnose Board is designed to be used in a wide range of applications, from under-lip lighting to coping for planters and seating, this adaptable profile opens up a wide range of possibilities.
The structural core of the Bullnose Board is a blend of natural minerals bonded in a polymer resin, with long fibre reinforcement for mechanical strength and durability. The top surface is a textured, resilient Lastane® layer which is chemically melded to the core and hand-tinted using 2K component pigments that resist fading and UV damage.
