Application

The fascia boards are used around the perimeter of a decking area, under the edging profiles, to cover the subframe and to add a finishing touch. They are also used on their own as cladding, either with the boards butted together as a flat finish or with the boards overlapping each other as a shiplap effect. Due to the flexibility of the fascia, it will fit the contours on almost any project.

Installation:

When used on a decking installation the Fascia boards need to be fully supported by the perimeter joist, fixed at 200–300 mm centres with two Durafix fixings. When used on a cladding installation the fascia boards need to be supported by battens at 300 mm centres, again fixed with two Durafix fixings where it crosses the batten.

Description

The fascia collection discreetly works with your choice of Millboard decking and edging, ensuring the final look is seamless and the subframe is hidden.

Available in eleven colours, the structural core of Millboard fascia is a blend of natural minerals bonded in a polymer resin, with long fibre reinforcement for mechanical strength and durability. The top surface is a textured, resilient Lastane® layer which is chemically melded to the core and hand-tinted using 2K component pigments that resist fading and UV damage.

Features and benefits:

  • Hand moulded and coloured - Skilfully hand-crafted to ensure a high quality, premium product.
  • Natural wood look - Moulded from selected oak for an organic, realistic wood-grain appearance.
  • UK made, UK backed - Designed and manufactured in the UK, tested independently globally.
  • Recycled materials - Recycled materials and renewable biopolymers are used within our boards.
  • Integrated UV stabilizers - UV stabilized for better performance and fade resistance over time.
  • Wood free - Wood-free composition prevents rot, warping and insect infestation.
  • ‘Lost-head’ fixings - Durafix fixings are virtually hidden beneath the unique Lastane surface.
  • Mould resistant - Unlike wood, it is actively resistant to mould and fungus.
  • Moisture resistant - Due to the non-porous composition, no sealing is required.
  • Cold bending - Fascia boards will bend to a radius of 1.2 m.
