De Rotterdam

De Rotterdam, the iconic vertical city designed by OMA and Rem Koolhaas, features Hunter Douglas’ Luxalon® Cell C40 / C50 ceiling systems to complement its bold architectural vision. Located on the city’s waterfront, the mixed-use development uses these open-cell ceilings to enhance spatial depth, support airflow, and maintain a clean, industrial aesthetic. The Luxalon® system integrates seamlessly within the building’s multifunctional spaces, reinforcing its dynamic, urban character while meeting the highest standards of performance and design.
Ecolor, Jucu

Ecolor is a Swedish company that manufactures furniture, mostly for Ikea. Inspired by the Nordic spirit, the design guidelines belong to the realm of minimalism, being simple and clean. The used chromatic palette is predominantly cold, varying from grey to anthracite and goes up to black. Everything is warmed by the presence of golden oak wood, used for wall cladding, interior compartment and furniture. Using the vegetal wall along with red decorative elements creates the colour accents of space.

Historical Archive - Cologne
Hunter Douglas Architectural
The Historical Archive of Cologne safeguards valuable documents and is now one of Europe’s most modern and durable city archives. After its 2009 collapse, the archive was rebuilt near the Rhine, seamlessly blending into Cologne’s green belt. Designed by Waechter + Waechter Architects, the new location offers scenic views and a natural setting.
Kreishaus Ravensburg

The renovation of the Ravensburg District Hall significantly improved acoustics and design with Hunter Douglas Architectural’s HeartFelt® Baffle ceiling, covering 1300 m² across multiple floors. Made from thermoformed PES fibres, these sound-absorbing baffles effectively reduce noise and reverberation, achieving a sound absorption coefficient of 0.45 to 0.6. Available in various sizes, they offer design flexibility for open ceiling systems.

The new Matrix ONE Innovation Centre has set itself up as a state-of-the-art, highly sustainable innovation building designed for meetings and interaction. Amsterdam’s Science Park is home to this noteworthy project, which was designed by renowned Rotterdam architects MVRDV and opened in 2023 by Femke Halsema, the Mayor of Amsterdam. PARIS-CHARLES DE GAULLE AIRPORT

Charles De Gaulle Airport, one of the world’s largest airports in terms of traffic, has seen several of its halls completely transformed. Hunter Douglas Architectural was able to participate in two of these projects, delivering architectural ceilings as well as wooden wall cladding. THE WINGS
Hunter Douglas Architectural
The Wings, a state-of-the-art office complex in Brussels, welcomes companies and organisations aiming for an eco-friendly and inspiring work environment. The building spans over 50.000 m² across four wings — hence the name — offering premium office spaces, a luxury hotel, a fitness center, restaurants, coworking facilities, a grand atrium, and an auditorium. This ambitious project, located in the vibrant Diegem district, offers facilities designed to minimize ecological impact while enhancing productivity and collaboration.
