Heathrow Terminal 5

OVERVIEW

Multiple, shrouded, wash troughs for 'airside' staff washrooms were provided as well as [DDA compliant] V216 HCP wash hand basins located in all accessible washroom cubicles.

Following a very specific design brief, the purpose made wash troughs were produced in order to meet the dual needs of a specific aesthetic appearance but also high durability. The heavily used airside washroom facilities are required to remain in full working order on a continuous 24 hour basis and so any possible cause of wear or tear must be minimised. By choosing the durable medium of stainless steel and also then fully enclosing pipework and services, a highly durable professional and hygienic environment is created for its users.

The V216 HCP has an ultra low profile to facilitate wheelchair access. Pipework is also fully concealed.

All units were produced in EN 1.4301 grade brushed satin stainless steel.
