Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm
OVERVIEW
Lionweld Kennedy provided a package of work for 'Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm' which is just off the coast of John o'Groats in Scotland.
We designed the project, ensuring steel and GRP was used efficiently to reduce costs for the client.
In-house at our Middlesbrough factory, we fabricated steel and GRP grating to provide flooring and handrail solutions across the windfarm.
The windfarm has the potential to generate 750MW of renewable energy, is capable of providing enough wind powered electricity for up to 450,000 homes.
The whole project was delivered in time and under budget.
