Vebro Polymers Variant:

A highly durable and decorative, UV–stable quartz flooring system based on fast–cure MMA (methyl methacrylate) technology.

Application

  • vebrospeed Quartz is designed for use on schemes requiring a new or replacement floor finish under a fast return to service.
  • The material is installed as a slurry of wet components including a mix of coloured quartz aggregates (0.4—0.8 mm) onto a primed concrete substrate, cementitious levelling screed or ceramic tiles.
  • Once the resin material has cured and hardened, the floor is sealed with a fast-cure transparent silk-matt seal coat. Each layer can typically be overcoated after 60 minutes.

vebrospeed Quartz is a highly durable and decorative, UV–stable DKI quartz flooring system based on fast–cure MMA (methyl methacrylate) technology.

vebrospeed Quartz is best suited to use in facilities requiring a decorative new or replacement floor finish, which needs to be installed overnight, in short install windows, or during scheduled periods of downtime to minimise disruption to daily operations.

vebrospeed Quartz can be installed on ceramic tiles and metal substrates providing that the correct primer and surface preparation is undertaken.

vebro Coloured Quartz Blends 0.4—0.8 mm.

Guidance for specification option:

Scatter final coat of primer while still wet.

Body coat

vebro MMA Binder mixed with vebro Coloured Quartz Blends.

Guidance for specification option:

Once cured, brush off excess vebro Coloured Quartz Blends and de-nib to remove loose stones.  

Seal coat

vebro MMA Seal (Clear Silk) sealer.

Guidance for specification option:

Use two coats.

Additional slip resistance can be achieved by broadcasting vebro Coloured Quartz Blends onto a filled MMA Binder. Consult the vebrospeed Quartz SR data sheet for details.

Setting time

1 hours (light foot traffic).

Cure time

Full chemical cure in 2—3 hours.
