Application
Suitable for use as an open-jointed, or sealed drained and back-ventilated rainscreen cladding system for new build facade projects, unitised facades, modular construction and facade refurbishment for all commercial and residential buildings. Suitable as an alternative to GRC cladding or quarried stone cladding with fully prefabricated, installation-ready facade panels, including extra large format slab-to-slab facade panels for seamless stone facades. Provides a non-porous facade material for a durable finish with consistent quality and aesthetics. Suitable for use in highly complex facades with a wide variety of bespoke facade details available.
Description
A drained and back-ventilated rainscreen facade system with agglomerated stone panels made using up to 96% upcycled marble quarry by-product.
Features and benefits:
- An installation-ready facade system aligned to the core principles of ISO TS 17870-3 2023, which states that all fabrication must be done in an ISO 9001 certified, quality controlled environment.
- All cutting, precision drilling, and fitting of undercut anchors is done in-house in a QA factory environment, aligned to the principles of ISO TS 17870-3:2023
- A2 s1,d0 rated facade panels to BS 13501-1
- Anti-fragment mesh factory applied to the rear of the all panels
- BBA certified facade system
- CWCT certified facade system
- As standard the material has 0.15% porosity , so the SureStone® panels do not need and secondary coating or sealing
- Fully prefabricated, installation-ready facade panels
- Fabricated in Shackerley's ISO 9001 certified UK factories as a complete installation-ready facade system
- No on-site cutting, drilling, fixing of anchors or assembly is required, aligned with the principles of ISO TS 17870-3 2023,
- All cladding panels and facade details are custom manufactured to order in-house at Shackerley's ISO 9001 certified factories.
- All cutting, precision drilling, and fitting of undercut anchors is done in-house in a QA factory environment
- Kiel stress free undercut anchors are used for every SureStone® facade panel using a patented, stress-free under cut secret fix anchorage.
- BSR compliant for HRBs and residential buildings

- Lightweight stone facade system weighing approximately 49kg/M2 suitable for lightweight building frames
