Description

A range of injection moulded polypropylene slate vents for roof ventilation and extraction and soil pipe ventilation on slate roof applications.


Features and benefits:

  • Manufactured from injection moulded polypropylene and designed for roof ventilation in both new build and refurbishment applications.
  • The products can also be used as outlet terminals for extraction fans and soil pipe ventilation when used in conjunction with Manthorpe GRPA Flexible pipes.


Product options:

- GILSV25-20 Small Format In-Line Slate Vent:

  • Discreet, unobtrusive design.
  • Suitable down to 22.5° roof pitch (30° with 400 x 200 mm slates).
  • For use with 500 x 250 mm format slates.
  • Can be used with smaller 400 x 200 mm slates.
  • Wind tunnel tested at the BRE.
  • Built in spigot, no need for an adaptor.
  • Protective edge skirt improves weatherproofing.
  • 6000 mm²/M of free vent area per unit.

- GILSV30-25 In-Line Slate Vent:

  • Discreet, unobtrusive design.
  • Suitable down to 22.5° roof pitch.
  • For use with 600 x 300 mm format slates.
  • Can be used with smaller 500 x 250 mm slates.
  • Wind tunnel tested at the BRE.

- GRSV30/25R Refurbishment Slate Vent:

  • Designed for retro fitting without the requirement to cut slate battens for use with 600 x 300 mm slates, but can be trimmed to fit 500 x 250 mm slates using pre-marked cutting lines.
  • Suitable for high and low level ventilation applications to provide 10 000 mm²/m free airflow.
  • Available finished in black with a light texture surface.
  • The hood is fitted with a 4 mm fly screen.
  • The GVSV30/25R has been extensively wind tunnel tested to BS 6367 Deluge test 225 mm/hr rainfall and driving rain test down to a roof pitch of 15° with an up roof wind speed of 13 m/s and a rainfall rate of 200 mm/hr to generate a fine, penetrative spray.

- GRSV30/25 Slate Vent:

  • Designed for use with as standard with 600 x 300 mm slates, but can be trimmed to fit 500 x 250 mm slates using pre-marked cutting lines.
  • Suitable for high and low level ventilation applications and designed to provide 10 000 mm²/m free airflow.

  • It can be used as an outlet terminal for extraction fans and soil pipe ventilation when used in conjunction with a GRPA Flexible Pipe.

Flexible pipe connector:

- Type GRPA:

  • A 455 mm long polyethylene flexible pipe designed for coupling directly to the slate vent oval spigot GRSV30/25 or GRSV45.
  • Can be trimmed to suit other terminal types with a 110 mm diameter connection.
  • The flexible pipe can be used to couple a soil pipe or mechanical extraction equipment and is supplied with metal screw clamp.
  • Allows 8000 mm² airflow.

- Type GRPA/1:

  • A 692 mm long polyethylene flexible pipe designed for coupling 4" ventilation products to 4" soil pipes or mechanical extraction equipment and is supplied with metal screw clamp.
  • Allows 8000 mm² airflow.

- Type GRPA/2:

  • A 800 mm long polyethylene flexible pipe version of the Type GRPA above.
  • Allows 8000 mm² airflow.

- Type GRPA/3:

  • A vacuum formed ABS flexible pipe reduction adaptor, designed for reducing 4" ducting and flexible pipes to make connection to 3" ventilation products.
  • It can be used in conjunction with the GRPA Flexible Pipe.
