RF50-FR Fire Rated Metal Rainscreen Cladding System - 50 mm Fire Rated Hook-On Cassette Panel

The market leading RF50-FR metal rainscreen system creates fire rated metal façades using concealed fixings and can be used as a standardised product or to create bespoke building envelope designs.

It is precision engineered to achieve a flat metal panel surface that can be finished in a vast range of aesthetic options to maximise design flexibility for architects and specifiers. These materials and finishes include:

Fire Safety

The RF50-FR metal rainscreen system is a rigorously tested, independently certified fire-rated envelope solution that is ideally suited to high rise buildings and for reclad and refurbishment projects in compliance with the latest building safety legislation.

Architects, contractors and building owners have the reassurance that this cladding solution is:

• Robustly fire tested and certified in accordance with BS8414-2 & EN13501-1
• Independently tested and certified by CWCT
• A UL safety mark certified system.

The system has been engineered and tested in compliance with required structural, fire, thermal and acoustic performance criteria.

System Construction

This factory-assembled system comprises 50mm deep metal cassette panels with baffled horizontal joints and double return folds to vertical edges with cut-out slots for concealed fixing. The panels are secured with concealed anti-lift screws.

It can be used to create cladding sub-assemblies offsite in the Spanwall factory to radically reduce installation time on site.

Advanced digital technology allows use of digital twinning and ease of prototyping for bespoke metal cladding solutions. Smart manufacturing also allows full traceability and tracking of every cladding component to ensure consistent quality.

Cladding Support System

Extruded aluminium wall support brackets create the insulation zone and ventilation space to the rear of panels.

The extruded aluminium vertical carrier support/drainage channel has a colour-coded infill strip and EPDM gaskets provide sealing and anti-vibration functions. Fully adjustable aluminium support hooks are secured by stainless steel fixings.
