Our award-winning approach to digital technology ensures highly efficient workflows, precision engineering, full traceability of every cladding component, shorter lead times and metal cladding fabrication to consistently high quality standards.

We can create digital twins for each component which allows the efficient design and verification for pre-assembly into rainscreen panel sub-assemblies. This streamlines installation and maximises efficiency on site for the façade contractor and main contractor.

The digital technology also allows product prototyping before proceeding into manufacture, further increasing quality and accuracy.

Online simulations of the metal folding process can be carried out as part of the validation process and all connection points can be pre-configured.

This ensures that the final cladding assembly is accurate, seamless and efficient, avoiding any issues with on site and reducing risk.

Applying Offsite Construction Principles to Cladding

By reducing the installation phase and work on site, we can help to create a watertight building envelope in a much shorter timeframe.

We apply digital workflows and offsite processes to fabricate large, sub-assembled rainscreen panels, radically reducing the site installation phase for the cladding contractor.

This approach and our streamlined systems ensure meticulous quality control in the Spanwall factory and a level of accuracy that can be very difficult to achieve on site.

Each panel can then be installed seamlessly in the exact sequence required – minimising material waste, storage, product damage on site, reducing vehicle movements, and maximising speed and construction efficiency.

To address sites with restricted access for deliveries, we can apply a just-in-time approach to achieve a highly efficient delivery and installation programme. Our team works with the project partners to implement stringent logistical planning, scheduling and collaboration at every stage.
