Plain Surface Tactile Guiding Strip

The plain surface guiding strip is compliant for use in guiding the visually impaired in the public realm. Available in several metals and customizable with bespoke sizing. 

This plain surface tactile guiding stud is manufactured from various materials including steel, aluminium, bronze, and brass, and is finished with a smooth surface.

At 400 mm in length, 20 mm in width and 6 mm in height, this guiding strip is in line with DETR guidelines, meaning they are suitable for use in guiding the visually impaired in public and private settings.

The tactile guiding strip features bevelled edges, leading up to a smooth surface. The shape of the strip provides ample tactile feedback while remaining unobtrusive to pedestrians.

Alternate sizing is available with the bespoke product service.

Tactile studs with matching patterns are available.
