Description

K-Roc Evolution represents a dramatic breakthrough in pre-engineered insulated wall panels delivering a clean, smooth, and aesthetically appealing modern solution. The system has a hidden joint detail which conceals the fasteners from view and is available in various widths (600–1200 mm) to suit any design.


Environmental:

  • Kingspan Insulated Panels produced in the UK and Ireland are certified to BES 6001 (Framework Standard for the Responsible Sourcing of Construction Products) ‘Good’. K-Roc Insulated Panel systems have Environmental Product Declarations in accordance with the requirements of EN 15804 + A2: 2019. 
  • Facilities located in Kingscourt, Holywell and Sherburn generate renewable energy onsite which contributes to that sites energy mix.
  • Kingspan Insulated Panels procure steel that is made from 15 – 25% recycled content. Kingspan insulated panels directly contribute to BREEAM® / LEED® credits. Recycled content calculations are available for all K-Roc products via technical services.

Stone Wool Insulation Core:

K-Roc Evolution panels are manufactured with a synthetic mineral fibre core which is non-combustible as defined by the Building Regulations applicable to all parts of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.

Kingspan insulated panels are manufactured from the highest quality materials, using state of the art production equipment to rigorous quality control standards, complying with:

Certification and Testing:

The K-Roc Evolution panel has a reaction to fire classification to BS EN 13501-1:2018 of A2-s1, d0 when tested on the external face.

The insulation core material in isolation is classified as Class A1 in accordance with BS EN 13501-1 Fire classification of construction products and building elements – Part 1: Classification using test data from reaction to fire tests, when tested to BS EN 13501-1.
