Environmental:

• Kingspan Insulated Panels produced in the UK and Ireland are certified to BES 6001 (Framework Standard for the Responsible Sourcing of Construction Products) ‘Good’. K-Roc Karrier Insulated Panel systems have Environmental Product Declarations in accordance with the requirements of EN 15804 + A2: 2019. 
• Facilities located in Kingscourt, Holywell and Sherburn generate renewable energy onsite which contributes to that sites energy mix.
• Kingspan Insulated Panels procure steel that is made from 15 – 25% recycled content. Kingspan insulated panels directly contribute to BREEAM® / LEED® credits. Recycled content calculations are available for all K-Roc Karrier products via technical services.

Stone Mineral Wool Core:

K-Roc Karrier panels are manufactured with a stone mineral wool insulation core which is non-combustible as defined by the Building Regulations applicable to all parts of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. This includes materials classified as Class A1 in accordance with BS EN 13501-1 Fire classification of construction products and building elements – Part 1: Classification using test data from reaction to fire tests, when tested to BS EN 13501-1.

Certification and Testing:

The K-Roc Karrier panel has a reaction to fire classification to BS EN 13501-1:2018 of A2-s1, d0 when tested on the external face.
