Application

Geomembrane suitable for restricting the ingress of radon, methane and carbon dioxide into buildings from landfill and naturally occurring sources.


Suitable for the following applications:

  • VOC contaminated sites (site specific assessment required).
  • Carbon Dioxide and Methane affected sites in accordance with BS 8485:2015 (A1+2019).
  • Radon affected sites in accordance with BR 211:2015.
  • Damp proof protection in accordance with Building Regulation Part C.

Description

JUTA GP®5 Gas Barrier is a multi-layer composite of virgin polyethylene (PE) with a central layer of ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH) to give high resistance to the passage of ground gas and organic vapours. It also acts as a high performance damp proof membrane (DPM).

Should be installed in accordance with the product installation guidelines, and in accordance with BS 8485: 2015.
