Application

For use in pitched roofs, framed walls and floor applications.

Eurothane GP can be used with wet and electric underfloor heating systems (UFHs).

Can be fitted between and over stud frames and rafters internally and externally.

Description

Eurothane® GP is a rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam board for use in multiple applications, including pitched roofs, floors and framed walls. It is faced on both sides with a multi-layer coated aluminium foil.

Thermal bridging

With increasing levels of insulation it is important to ensure the continuity of insulation at the junction of elements. In floors, this means the use of perimeter upstand insulation around the screed or slab. In pitched roofs and framed walls, the use of continuous insulation layers in addition to insulation installed between the structure is recommended. This provides a more efficient solution overall and makes it easier to achieve continuity of insulation.
