Application

Koster CT 215 Universal Floor is applicable in variable layer thicknesses between 0.2 mm (high-build coating) and 2 mm (self- levelling floor) for the protection and decorative finish of concrete in inhabited interiors or commercial areas such as laboratories, sales rooms, offices and garages which have a light to medium mechanical and chemical load exposure.


As a water based epoxy resin, Koster CT 215 Universal Floor is suitable for coating dry or slightly damp surfaces.


By broadcasting with Koster Colour Chips and finishing with Koster TS Transparent a highly decorative finish is achieved for showrooms or other high-profile areas.


Can be used externally with good UV resistance, when broadcast with Koster Colour Chips or Kiln dried sand and finished with Koster TS Transparent.


Non-slip coating - The un-modified top coat of Koster CT 215 Universal floor has a slip resistance rating of R 10. With the addition of Koster Anti-Slip Granulate 20, the R value can be increased to R11 or R12

  • Koster CT 215 Universal Floor is completely solvent-free so that the room air is not negatively affected.
  • Koster CT 215 Universal Floor is water vapor permeable and can be used as a surface protection system in inhabited interiors.
  • Slip Resistance from R10 to R12 depending on specification

The surface must be clean, free of oil and grease and have a minimum tensile strength of 1.5 N/mm². Suitable surface preparation such as shot-blasting or grinding is required.

Primer Coat – Koster CT 121 diluted with 10% clean water.

Topcoat – Koster CT 121 (undiluted).

6:1.

Pot life

One hour.

Overcoating

Overcoating can be applied after approximately 12 hours.

Depending on environmental conditions.

Consumption (per layer applied)

1.5 kg/m²/mm.

  • As a leveling coating: approx. 0.75 kg/m²/mm layer thickness plus 0.75 kg/m²/mm Koster Filler Fine.

Cleaning

Clean tools immediately after use with water. Cured material must be mechanically removed.

Storage

Store cool, but frost-free in closed containers.

The material can be stored for a minimum of 12 months at temperatures between +15 and +25°C.
