External passenger platform lift.
Description
An external passenger platform lift ideal for use as a simple, cost-effective access solution between external floors, or from external to internal entrances (e.g. a car park lift). The 7000 XT uses a modular structure to reduce delivery and installation time, needing only a small loadbearing footprint and no major building works on site. Additional features such as ventilation, heating and weatherproof finishes are used.
The platform lift is completely contained within the supplied shaft and operated using the patented nut-and-screw technology. The lift doesn’t require a head fixing, machine room or pump box housing. Operation inside the platform lift is continuous pressure, and outside using a single touch-button to call the lift to the floor.
Meets the requirements of Building Regulations (E&W) Approved Document M and BS 8300, as well as helping to meet obligations for disabled and wheelchair under BS EN 81-41 and the Equality Act (formerly the DDA).
