Twinfix is a family business established in 1990 that grew out of Thermoclear UK, who developed the first European range of glazing bars for multiwall polycarbonate. Nowadays it also designs, manufactures and installs a fully recyclable rooflight system, the Multi-Link-Panel, plus a range of glazed canopies, covers, walkways and smoking shelters. These comprise an aluminium framework glazed with multiwall/solid polycarbonate, often fitted with the company's own Multi-Link-Panels. As one of few UK canopy companies who are members of NARM (National Association of Rooflight Manufacturers) Twinfix has wide experience on this topic and its Multi-Link-Panel NonFragile conforms to the recommended drop test for roofing assemblies, ACR[M]001:2014, achieving a B classification. The company's newest introduction, GW Polycarbonate, mimics Georgian wired glass, but has all the benefits of polycarbonate and has been approved for use in Heritage Buildings. Twinfix holds CHAS, Constructionline and Builders Profile accreditations and has achieved BS9001:2008. All its installation and external sales teams are fully CRB checked. The company's rooflights are used commercially, including railway stations and depots whilst our canopies and walkways have a great fit within the education, health, sport and domestic sectors.
