Sustainability overview
Saint-Astier® EPDS
What are they for?
Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) provides essential information about finished construction products that are placed on the market. Verified and governed by strict standards, environmental declarations make it possible to assess the environmental and health impact of a product by taking into account its entire life cycle: from the extraction of raw materials to the end of its life, taking into account transport, installation on building sites and the use of the product itself.
This data can help guide you in your choice of materials, in a clear and transparent way.
Environmental performance, energy performance certificate (EPC) is the major regulatory development, which introduces the calculation of a building’s impact throughout its life cycle. Environmental performance data sheets have become an essential part of these regulations.
The Saint-Astier teams provide support and technical advice to building and construction professionals on a daily basis, so it was important for us to provide you with our environmental and health declaration jointing pegs to help architects and project managers make the best possible choice of materials on site.
Which Saint-Astier solutions are concerned?
The information provided in our individual Environmental Product Data Sheets is based on data measured during on-site application. This is an additional guarantee of confidence, enabling you to use real, concrete data on the performance of our lime solutions.
