At Pro Clima, our mission has always been to enable buildings to be energy-efficient, comfortable and healthy for those who use them. For more than 30 years, we have been designing, manufacturing and supplying high-performance airtightness and windtightness thermal insulation sealing systems and products which protect building fabric, enhance comfort and reduce energy use throughout a building’s entire life cycle.
Our sustainability commitment is grounded in transparency and independent verification. Many of our products carry Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), providing comparable, third-party verified life cycle data. These declarations support sustainable design decisions and meet the requirements of leading certification systems, including DGNB, BNB, BREEAM and LEED. In addition, our products are rigorously tested by independent institutes to ensure exceptionally low emissions, making them well-suited to environments where health, well-being and long-term comfort are essential.
People remain at the centre of everything we do. We believe that responsible innovation is only meaningful when it actively improves the way we build and live. Our product development is guided by the principle of achieving the highest performance with the lowest possible ecological impact. By choosing Pro Clima systems, designers and builders can create buildings that are comfortable, safe and ready for the future.
Innovation Through Circularity
We see circularity as a key driver of meaningful progress. In 2024, Pro Clima launched the first humidity-variable vapour control membranes on the European market with a fleece made from 50% recycled material - Intello and Intello Plus. By reintegrating production off-cuts into new products, we reduce the use of virgin plastics by at least 225,000 kg each year. This shift not only lowers our material footprint but also cuts transport emissions and minimises waste, all without compromising the reliability and performance our products are known for.
We are always seeking to reduce the impact our production has, and we us 100% recycled FSC paper in the packing of our products, such as grommets, as well as using 100% recycled paper in our DB+ airtightness membrane.
Continuous Improvement
Sustainability at Pro Clima is not a fixed target but an ongoing responsibility. We continue to refine our materials, optimise our processes and strengthen our environmental performance. Our aim is to support a built environment that places occupant health first while reducing pressure on natural resources. Through continuous improvement, transparent reporting and responsible innovation, we work to ensure that the buildings created with Pro Clima systems contribute to a more resilient and sustainable future.
