Aberdeen City Council’s 3Rs Project (Reorganise, Renovate, Rebuild) focused on the regeneration of its school estate.
The project required durable and aesthetically-pleasing floor-coverings on a fast-turnaround.
Chippenham Pit Stop

Chippenham Pit Stop is a family-run motorway service station on the M4, incorporating offices and modern meeting facilities.
In order to complete the redevelopments, the site required a modern-design led carpet tile that needed to be fit for heavy contract use.
Heckmondwike supplied its Odyssey commercial carpet tiles, which provide a uniquely creative finish to any development.

College Case Study - Array Purple Carpet Tiles

Oldham Sixth Form College has installed 750m2 of Array carpet tiles from Heckmondwike’s Creative Range in its Student Support Hub.
Heckmondwike’s Array carpet tile range features a mid-width rib design and a charcoal background enhanced with a subtle linear pattern.
The Array range can be used in conjunction with Heckmondwike’s popular Broadrib range to provide borders or other stunning effects allowing endless design possibilities.
Like all Heckmondwike’s products, tiles, such as Array, can be cut on-site without the risk of fraying, allowing individual flooring designs to be created and installed with ease.
Gloucester Academy

Diamond and Supacord were specified for the new Gloucester Academy, creating a robust, neutral base for the minimalistic, contemporary design of this new school.
100m² of Diamond entrance carpet was specified for the entrance and transition areas, thus protecting the Supacord carpet installed within the classrooms.
Diamond and Supacord were selected as they are renowned for being able to withstand the high volumes of foot traffic associated with schools.

LiveLink desperately wanted a Space Invader theme in one of its offices to best illustrate the company’s own creativity to clients.
Due to its versatility and colour bank, Enhanced Flooring selected Supacord for the job.
The whole look was enhanced by black window frames, red window sills and a large glass door etched with a screenshot from the retro arcade game.

Portland House, Adur & Worthing Councils

Broadrib and Array was specified as part of the refurbishment of Portland House – one of Worthing & Adur Councils’ main administration buildings.
The project involved the supply of over 2000m² of Heckmondwike commercial carpet tiles, including Broadrib, Array and Diamond in Charcoal.
Allowed for the creation of a contemporary, yet durable, work space.
Revive IT

Revive IT, based in Leeds, are an IT recycling and disposal company.
The company underwent a full office refurbishment, with new carpets required as part of the development.
Revive IT wanted carpet tiles that stood out, while also matching brand colours and providing durability.
To match the company’s purple branding, Heckmondwike FB provided Array Purple, alongside Broadrib Purple accent tiles to create a distinct finish
School Carpet Case Study - Bespoke Carpet Products

•An OFSTED ‘Outstanding’ Rated school, the Ormiston Venture Academy in Norwich, specified Supacord carpet with inlaid bespoke logo mats from Heckmondwike.
•A brand new entrance plaza provided a focal point for the new academy, with Heckmondwike called upon to produce a bespoke mat with the school’s new branding.
•Supacord in Steel Grey was used extensively in the school, particularly in corridors and some classrooms, creating a neutral base for more vibrant furniture.

•Atrium Building in Maltings Place, Tower Bridge Road, formerly housed the Sarsons Vinegar Brewery and was redeveloped to provide modern apartments.
•Dreadnought entrance area carpet was installed in the corridors and entrance areas due to its durability and low maintenance costs.
