Blue roof systems for flat roofs

Our cold applied liquid systems are based on advanced PU and PMMA technology. They are simple to install and long lasting; making them suitable for use in all kinds of flat roof and surfacing applications. Defined permutations of our cold applied liquid systems hold fire classification BROOF(t4) for compliance with building regulations under TS 1187 test method 4 for external fire exposure to roofs. LiquiTEC holds BBA Certification 14/5152 and LiquiTOP holds BBA Certification 20/5789. Fire performance is verified by the BBA and stated on the certifications.

Our bespoke CPD presentations are created to address your specific roofing requirements, and can even be tailored towards a project you are currently working on. Presentations last approximately 45 minutes, and take place over the lunchtime period in your offices, with plenty of time for questions afterwards. This keeps disruption to a minimum and we provide lunch. Your chosen presentation will be delivered by your Bauder Technical Manager who will be on hand afterwards to work with anyone requiring project specific support.

Green roof systems for flat roofs

Our hot melt roof systems are ideally suited as a waterproofing system beneath paved or ballasted surfacing, car parks, podiums, plazas, green roofs and substructures. Stated permutations of our hot melt systems hold fire classification BROOF(t4) for compliance with building regulations under TS 1187 test method 4 for external fire exposure to roofs. Fire performance is verified by the BBA and stated on our certification.

For new build projects, our range of waterproofing systems can be used with some systems lending themselves to a particular project depending on the design, cost, planning requirements, sustainability focus, and life expectancy. Projects can often be required by planning to include an element of green roof with vegetation or recreational space, blue roof capacity for SuDS, or photovoltaics for energy generation. Our design team will support you through all the considerations required for the inclusion of these upgrades whilst also creating a scheme that safeguards the underlying Bauder waterproofing.

Our single ply roofing systems are ideal for lightweight, fast track and cost effective construction projects. The systems provide solutions that are durable, resistant to the natural elements and are able to support extensive green roofs and BauderSOLAR photovoltaic arrays. All our single ply systems hold fire classification BROOF(t4) on defined permutations and verified by the BBA for compliance with building regulations under TS 1187 test method 4 for external fire exposure to roofs.

A flat roof is the ideal place for a solar photovoltaic (PV) installation as it provides an unobstructed space that is perfectly positioned to catch as much sunlight as possible and the electrical production from the installed PV array converts your roof in to a small power plant. BauderSOLAR F flat roof photovoltaic solution with a mounting system that is attached to the roof without penetration of the waterproofing system or roof deck. BauderSOLAR G LIGHT is an integrated solar PV mounting system specifically for Bauder biodiverse or extensive green roofs.

Our detailing solution is designed specifically to deliver secure torch-free detailing in the vicinity of combustible construction materials located on, or connected to, the roof such as timber substrates or upstands; abutments to cladding, roof tiles, slates or thatch; or even debris such as dry leaf material that is at risk from ignition. The foundation for our torch-free detailing is the group of hot air welded, self-adhesive, SBS modified bitumen membranes for the vapour control layer, underlayer and cap sheet. These membranes and their application techniques conform to the recommendations given in the Safe2Torch guidance published July 2017 by the National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC).
