Acoustic Products launches semi-automatic electric movable wall

Acoustic Products has launched a new semi-automatic electric movable wall system. Each panel within the system has a microprocessor based circuit board controlling automatic operation of the panel seals making the system extremely easy to use and re-locate. Available in sound reduction ratings up to Rw 57 dB, a wide range of panel finishes and with simple or more complex remote stacking arrangements. Beacon of Light - Sports Hall

A world-class space for sport, events, and education using out Topperfo Micro perforated panels. The indoor sports facility has utilised one of our wall systems to combat sound reverberation, voice intelligibility and to lower the sound pressure levels typically created in such a large hard surfaced area.

Deloitte Office

This exciting installation designed by Sheppard Robson incorporated a bespoke Laudescher LINEA (aw 0.85, Absorption Class B, NRC 0.9) slatted panel with the purpose of managing the reflective nature of the walls within this main entrance area.

This extremely specific design of the wall panels with each slat being different thickness and depth as well and being chamfered. On the returns these are mitred, with each mitre being different to take into consideration the slat thickness and depth

Design Museum - London

The extremely specific design of the wall panels in the Design Museum, specified so the panels work to absorb sounds and reduce the refection so and to increase the calming effect of the area. The Topakustik micro perforated panels have been bespoke manufactured with an eye to detail in the Oak veneer, the veneering layout and the panel widths so as to blend the natural veneer grains, colours and panel sizes.

Edge Grove School - External

This Edge Grove School has used the Laudescher2.4.3 system that will not only work as an absorbing surface but also works at diffusing the sound. Along with the great acoustic properties the Linea range also adds to the natural aesthetics.

Edge Grove School - Internal

This Edge Grove School had our Laudescher system that will not only work as an absorbing surface but also diffusing the sound waves to insure better room acoustics. This will create lower sound reverberation and lower sound pressure levels which will aid speech intelligibility.

Forth Valley College - Falkirk

Forth Valley College; included teaching spaces, lecture theatres, and catering facilities. Specified was two Acoustic Products systems being Laudescher Linea 2.6.8 and Linea 2.9.28. To combat sound reverberation, increase speech clarity and to lower the sound pressure levels.

Freeman's Swimming Pool

The timber construction had several challenges of a swimming pool environment. The Laudescher LINEA 2.4.3 (aw-0.90, Absorption Class-A, NRC–0.90) manufactured for its properties to not swell, absorb or mutate while bringing in the usual high quality acoustic properties that absorbs the reflective sounds that will promote greater communication in the pool environment which is vital for teaching and ultimately the safety of the students, teachers, and coaches.

Gravetye Manor

The timber finishes brings a natural warmth to the interior and exterior design. The Topakustik system will also allow the Gravetye Manor customers to dine in an area that has had the reverberation lowered, allowing great speech intelligibility whilst lowering the sound pressure levels.

KPMG - Castle Terrace

These meeting spaces at the KPMG site in Edinburgh called for our advanced acoustic knowledge and for Topakustik’s design oriented manufacturing. Using the Topakustik micro perforated technology, we were able to create the image of the founders of KPMG into timber acoustic panels.

National Army Museum

Acoustic Products were utilised on the class room teaching space using Topakustik 8/3M to aid with speech intelligibility,combat room reverberation and to lower the sound pressure levels.

New Scotland Yard

This Laudescher LINEA Bespoke 2.4.3 acoustic slatted panels with the purpose of managing the reflective nature of the walls within the main entrance area. The extremely specific design of the ceiling panels here where each slat cut from a glulam block so as to achieve a curve that is not stressed. The same product is used inside and outside so as to achieve a seamless finish through the glass.

Oxford High School - Ada Benson Building

The Ada Benson Centre for Sixth Form and the Arts used our Topakustik 29/3M system has been utilised to assist the foyer, atria and circulation system to combat Sound Propagation, Reverberation and Sound Pressure levels in line with the Building Bulletin 93.

Places Leisure Centre

The indoor sports facility has utilised one of our wall systems(Topperfo M 16/16/8) to combat sound reverberation, voice intelligibility and to lower the sound pressure levels typically created in such a large hard surfaced area.

Project Loop

Installed were three various sized Topakustik Panels, the 9/2M, 12/4M and 14/2M. Primarily chosen for the aesthetics; these panels also created a better natural environment to combat the acoustic struggles of the modern day work place. We help combat higher reverberation levels, lower the sound pressure levels and diffused those annoying noise frequencies.

Project Swan

The beautifully transformed St Helen’s Tower designed by TTSP created an environment that considered both functionality and comfort for staff and visitors. The design and build project was constructed by COMO (now Mace Interiors) and wonderfully installed by TMJ Interiors.

Constructed by Bennett Construction and installed by Commercial Connections our Topakustik system will fight against the large reflective sounds created in such an varse space.

Welwyn Council Chamber

This greatly presented Council Chamber situated in Welwyn Garden City was designed by the architects at RPS. Installed for the aesthetic and acoustic properties this fantastic Laudescher LINEA 4.2.1 (aw-0.50, Absorption Class D, NRC-0.7) system was specified to combat a potentially hostile room where noise would normally become a problem. The one hundred person capacity chamber was fitted with high quality audio visual technology which meant the LINEA 4.2.1 needed to be able to not only absorb but diffuse varying noises, frequencies and sound pressure levels around the curvaceous perimeter wall.
