Acoustic Products launches semi-automatic electric movable wall

Acoustic Products has launched a new semi-automatic electric movable wall system.
Each panel within the system has a microprocessor based circuit board controlling automatic operation of the panel seals making the system extremely easy to use and re-locate.
Available in sound reduction ratings up to Rw 57 dB, a wide range of panel finishes and with simple or more complex remote stacking arrangements.

The timber construction had several challenges of a swimming pool
environment. The Laudescher LINEA 2.4.3 (aw-0.90, Absorption
Class-A, NRC–0.90) manufactured for its properties to not swell,
absorb or mutate while bringing in the usual high quality acoustic
properties that absorbs the reflective sounds that will promote greater
communication in the pool environment which is vital for teaching and
ultimately the safety of the students, teachers, and coaches.

This wonderfully designed project by Spaced Out Architecture
incorporates the Topakustik 30/2M in American Walnut.
Installed by T & M Building Services the Topakustik 30/2M planks (absorption class c, NRC 0.75) were manufactured with a moisture resistant core board and finished with an American Walnut veneer.
Due to the environment of projects with spas and swimming pools the core board ensures the integrity of the structure and acoustic performance of the planks.

This Laudescher LINEA Bespoke 2.4.3 acoustic slatted panels with the
purpose of managing the reflective nature of the walls within the main entrance area. The extremely specific design of the ceiling panels here where each slat cut from a glulam block so as to achieve a curve that is not stressed. The same product is used inside and outside so as to achieve a seamless finish through the glass.

Built on the historic Iffley Road track where Sir Roger Bannister broke the four-minute mile. This state of the art multi sports facility is part of the Acer
Nethercott Sports Centre built by Beard Construction, which was part of the
Universities new redesign.
The walling was split in two sections; from 1.8m up hosts our Topperfo 16/16/8
(aw 0.75, Absorption Class C, NRC 0.90) whilst the lower section has had the
Topperfo plain installed. Both with a European Oak Veneer both installed to
withstand impact according to DIN 18032.

Build; this internal refurbishment met the Breeam excellent status which we
are very happy contributor.
John Robertson Architects specified the Laudescher LINEA 4.2.4 which was
superbly installed by CIM ltd on behalf of ISG London.
Specified and installed by CIM ltd was our Laudescher Linea 4.2.4
(absorption class B, NRC 0.9) in Oak with a Varnished finish. Using the Laudescher system in various areas within the office area will contribute in keeping an area clam whilst ensuring good effective communication.

Installed were three various sized Topakustik Panels, the 9/2M, 12/4M and 14/2M. Primarily chosen for the aesthetics; these panels also created a better natural environment to combat
the acoustic struggles of the modern day work place. We help combat higher reverberation levels, lower the sound
pressure levels and diffused those annoying noise frequencies.

Taking sustainability to new heights, the London Borough of Surrey awarded the largest UK nonresidential Passivhaus scheme to Willmott Dixon.We supplied the Laudescher Linea 4.2.4 in a pine natural finish to Ash Drywall who superbly installed the acoustic product. The Laudescher system was specified due to its beautiful aesthetics but most importantly the acoustic properties. The common areas need to be acoustically treated ensure the students and teachers receive the optimal environment to communicate and learn.
Welwyn Council Chamber

This greatly presented Council Chamber situated in Welwyn Garden City was designed by the architects at RPS.
Installed for the aesthetic and acoustic properties this fantastic Laudescher LINEA 4.2.1 (aw-0.50, Absorption Class D, NRC-0.7) system was specified to combat a potentially hostile room where noise would normally become a problem. The one hundred person capacity chamber was fitted with high quality
audio visual technology which meant the LINEA 4.2.1 needed to be able to not only absorb but diffuse varying noises, frequencies and sound pressure levels around the curvaceous perimeter wall.
