With two cats and two dogs, a low-maintenance and stain-resistant floor was non-negotiable in this stylish home renovation.

Although our clients loved the polished concrete aesthetic, significant depth issues meant that installation was impossible without removing the entire floor. Such restrictions are common in refurb projects so we introduced our clients to Lazenby MicroLux.

MicroLux is a lightweight concrete alternative with a similar luxurious finish to our flagship product. At just 3mm thick, it can be installed quickly and efficiently over existing floors making it ideal for this type of project. Our clients loved the rich and creamy tones of Cotswold Buff, a colour that exudes a sense of peace, calm and tranquility. We installed 40m2 across this contemporary open-plan kitchen and living space, with underfloor heating concealed within the screed. The result is a completely seamless floor and an effortlessly serene interior.
