Overview

Enfield Speciality Doors was asked to produce ready to hang doors for purpose built student accommodation.

The rooms are made up of ensuite bedrooms with double beds and include a 24/7 on-site concierge, conveniently located across the river from the ARU Chelmsford campus.

Project details

We supplied 487 ready to hang door assemblies for bedrooms, corridors and kitchens which featured glazed panels across 300 student rooms and 100 kitchens using a combination of FD30 and FD60 doors.

Health and safety: FD30 and FD60 doors.

Door assemblies were required for bedrooms with lock preparation included, as well as 3 corridor zones and kitchens with glazed panels.

Health and safety: FR30 doors with oak lippings, softwood species for the majority of the doors, but with 8 doors having FD60 properties
