OVERVIEW
A new fit out for brand new recording studios was required, to be used by recording artists, producers as well as podcasters. Sound-proofing was key for this project. We had worked with the architect, contractor and their team, including the acousticians previously and were known within the industry.
We supplied 55 door assemblies, as well as some with glazed panels and a combination of Quiet Mark accredited acoustic doors, some with FD30 fire rating. On request we delivered doors built with a back-to-back system, manufactured with a 35dB door on the outside and a 42dB door on the inside door to minimise sound leaks between rooms.
