OVERVIEW
Background
The City Hub stands as a beacon of excellence in student services across Nottingham.
With an impressive six-storey structure, it teems with diverse facilities, from a performing arts centre to a science and early years provision. On top of this, the campus holds a 200-seat theatre, training restaurant, and social spaces. giving students a truly enriching experience while studying with them.
Challenge
Due to the high number of students and staff entering and exiting the City Hub on a daily basis, the client was faced with the challenge of finding a suitable solution to safely manage this. With limited space, it was crucial that a solution was found that would cater to the restricted area while maintaining the expected high-throughput. Another challenge that the campus faced was preventing overcrowding and delays for people on their building journey. Without overcoming this. there was a risk of making pupils late to class and causing an unpleasant user experience.
