OVERVIEW
Reigate & Banstead Borough Council is transforming Marketfield Way, Redhill, with a brand-new leisure, retail and residential development. The 0.59-hectare site will turn the western side of Marketfield Way into a vibrant destination for both property seekers and visitors to the local area. It is made up of the Council’s former Marketfield Way surface car park and a group of retail and commercial buildings fronting 18-44 High Street.
Features of the scheme include:
The waterproofing and gas proofing of the new mixed use scheme basement area and ground floor was a crucial element of phase 2 of the project. Reigate and Banstead Council therefore called upon contractor Vinci Construction to undertake the waterproofing works, utilising Sika’s solution provided through subcontractor Oliver Connell & Son Ltd
