Floor Access Hatch - Heathrow Airport Terminal 5

Surespan has manufactured and supplied a large access hatch in the engine house of Heathrow Airport’s new terminal five.

The three-leaf hatch – which measures 6 x 3 metres – can take up to 5kN/m² loading. It has an electric actuator opening which can be activated remotely and is fire rated for up to two hours.
