OVERVIEW
Located in the heart of Canary Wharf, One Bank Street is a 27-storey landmark office building designed by renowned architects Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF). Achieving a BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ rating, the building exemplifies sustainable design and modern architectural excellence.
To maintain efficient ventilation and provide rain defence without compromising the design, the architects required high-performance, vertical blade louvres. To achieve this balance of functionality and aesthetics, Construction Specialties (CS) supplied 38 custom-sized RSV-5700 vertical blade louvres, covering approximately 300m². Installed beneath deep overhangs on the West and South façades, these louvres achieve Class A 3 up to 3.5 m/s (verified by independent testing to EN 13030) . Powder-coated to match the façade, the louvres integrate seamlessly into the glazing framework.
