Solan Topside
OVERVIEW
Working for Burntisland Fabrications, we designed, fabricated and supplied modular flat packed steel and GRP grating and handrails to the 'Solan Topside' oil field which is owned by Burntisland Fabrications.
Lionweld Kennedy utalised both steel and GRP grating and handrails to create a cost effect solution which suits their load bearing requirements.
The Premier-operated Solan oil field is located west of the Shetlands in the North Sea and it is expected to produce 40 million barrels of oil with an estimated initial production rate of 24,000 barrels of oil per day.
