OVERVIEW
PROJECT BACKGROUND & REQUIREMENT:
As part of the Government’s push to improve local COVID-19 testing access, a temporary facility was fast-tracked at Eastgate Car Park.
Fully DDA-compliant ramps and steps to the building were urgently required to be installed ahead of the site’s end-of-week launch.
Unlike traditional poured concrete or fixed timber solutions, which are single-use and labour-intensive to construct, our modular access systems offered quick and easy assembly, straightforward removal, and full reusability—providing the flexibility and efficiency required for temporary projects such as this.
DESIGN PHASE:
Within 24 hours of receiving the initial enquiry and site dimensions, we delivered full 2D and 3D technical drawings along with a detailed quotation for the contractor.
INSTALLATION:
Measurements were received on Monday evening. By Tuesday morning, all components had been picked, packed, and dispatched—arriving on site first thing Wednesday.
Installation also began that Wednesday by our fitting team, with the system fully operational and ready for use by Thursday at midday.
We lived up to our name—delivering the entire project in under a week. This was made possible by our fully in-house team, including estimators, designers, a site surveyor, and skilled installers, all working in sync to meet the tight deadline.
With all components available from stock, we were ready to move the moment the green light was given.
