The Sixtine room, near to the chapel of the same name in the Vatican welcomed an exposition of fabulous old religious art objects. Branko Siladin used Structural Barrisol Lumière as luminous support for retables and crosses, luminous base for chests and luminous showcase for statues. This structure was perfectly adapted in this historic place creating a harmony between the prestige of a place and the prestige of a product.

A flat roof in the state of Tyrol was used to rigorously test a new non-combustible inverted roof insulation solution for the UK market.

The vision for Rochdale Riverside was to provide a revitalised and vibrant town centre incorporating a contemporary architectural form and material palette. In this way it was hoped that it would create a destination experience and re-establish Rochdale as a major shopping centre.The impact of the Stereo-kinetic® wall cladding was fundamental within the design of the project.As described by architects, TP Bennet, “The centrepiece of the scheme, a striking, copper-clad cinema, is set against a background of a dramatic kinetic wall featuring a relief depicting the River Roch, which runs in a culvert underneath the centre”.And also noted within the report by Rochdale Online, “To bring visual interest and activity a unique moving tile wall is proposed which will move with the wind to create rippling effects. It will create a truly distinctive piece of public art and feature at a key entrance point to the town for tram and bus passengers”.Lang+Fulton fitted the 77,500 stainless steel tiles off-site using a template corresponding to the architects design and supplied their panels fully finished with protective, recyclable wrapping for ease of installation.

The monument, sited on a roundabout on Avenida Circunvalar, near the city’s industrial area, uses a huge steel and aluminium frame to support more than 2,000 m2 (21,500 ft2) of colored laminated safety glass. Arranged in a harlequin pattern, the glazed panels - in shades of red, yellow, green, blue and white - cover the entirety of the structure in a multi-colored façade that is both complimentary and contrasting to the surrounding area.

This impressive complex has been awarded Project of the Year 2018 in the Building category by Mexican Magazine ‘Obras’ - measures some 180,000m2 (1,900,000ft2). Opened in 2017. Designed by multiple-award-winning architect Teodoro González de León, who sadly died in 2016, the mall makes incredible use of glass to deliver uninterrupted views throughout the complex, thanks to its use of balustrades. But the most striking glazed feature is the egg-shaped skylight in the roof, which is fabricated using multiple shaped panels a slightly domed effect, which lets in as much natural light as possible.

Klimahaus® Bremerhaven 8° is a spectacular exhibition complex, north of Bremen, Germany. The idea behind the large project is a simulated journey around the world measured at eight degrees 34 minutes east. This is the longitude of Bremerhaven and all the other locations on the journey: Switzerland, Sardinia, the Sahel, the African rain forest, the Antarctic, Samoa, Alaska and the north Frisian island of Langeness. Teckentrup provided smoke and fire doorsets to ensure unobtrusive and safe everyday passage and emergency egress for visitors to the exhibition. Almost every doorset was individually planned.

This museum is the native home of Enzo Ferrari, this is the house where he first opened his work shop. London architectural studio “Surface Design” were responsible for the creation of this futuristic exhibition gallery. The ceiling gallery comprises of 2700 m² of Barrisol sheet Blanc mat. The walls of the studio are covered with 270 m² of Barrisol sheets Lumiere and Lumiere color and have images, movies and historical documents projected in a multimedia as a permanent part of the exhibition. We installed more than 16,000 square meters of stretch ceilings at Aspire Stadium in Doha, one of the stadiums that was built to host the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. On the sporting side, we have already seen the construction of stretch ceilings installed at the Aquatics Center, the pool of the London Olympics in 2012. Beautiful seaside property with a view worth waking up to and when you want to. This large feature window is approximately 3600mm wide and 4000mm high and the blinds have been skilfully concealed within the horizontal section above the opening door without closing off any of the glazing area. Grants have experience from many projects featuring bottom up blinds for gable end windows. So often the addition of a large gable creates a nightmare to find a shading solution that works.  We recommend contacting us during the detailed design stage. This client contacted Grants prior to ordering the windows and since then we worked together and achieved amazing results - as good as Blackout blinds in a bedroom gable can get.The end result looks amazing!

Volvo Showroom is allowing himself the luxury of Barrisol streched ceilings. The products take the form of a series of light boxes embossed in the manner of a puzzle game with geometric shapes whose reputation is notorious. The forms follow and alternate seamlessly between gray and white giving the impression of depth disconcerting ceiling. Everything reinforces the modern and futuristic look of the place. The Lantern is the result of a wholesale redevelopment and reimagining of a large eight story building in Euston, Central London. Developer owners Lazari Investments have worked with Marks Barfield Architects to create a stunning scheme which successfully meets the current desire for built inner city environments to offer contemporary and elegant work space alongside areas designed for leisure, relaxation and retail therapy.Rockfon were very pleased to be specified for the project which offers 23,000m2 of mixed-use space including offices, café’s, shops and apartments. David Booth of the specialist firm spoke about the project, “We are proud of the work we’ve carried out at The Lantern, which presented a number of challenges associated with the myriad of services and fittings which go to make-up sophisticated contemporary mixed-use architecture. “The grid work and Mono Acoustic were installed to a wide variety of abutments in spaces throughout the building including within the large atrium, working around the many finishes and fire curtains to the front face of the lobby and glazed screens to either end. Fitting the ceiling to accommodate a stunning feature Italian light fitting suspended from 130 rods fixed to the structural slab called for exacting tolerances and really demonstrated the system’s versatility.”Seamless performanceMono is a ground-breaking product which combines a seamless ceiling with high performance characteristics. This new museum is the result of a close collaboration between Paris and Abu Dhabi, with some Artworks lent by France and a French architect, Jean Nouvel. Jean Nouvel has created a town on Saadiyat island, situated 10km from Abu Dhabi center. As part of an on-going, planned flat roofs refurbishment, the Hotel flat roofs existing, ageing coverings were found to be in various state of deterioration.

The existing felt waterproofing and timber deck had failed allowing water ingress into the residential building below. Upon further inspection, Proteus established that the existing roof lacked any insulation and therefore did not meet current Building Regulations.
