A vertical profiled damp proof course with integral expanded polystyrene insulation.

Introduces a thermal break within the cavity wall reveal. Width extends into and overlays cavity insulation, thus eliminating any thermal spiking.

  • For use when closing cavity walls in the traditional manner.
  • Intergrated profile laps cavity insulation – overlaying inconsistent cutting / gaps.
  • A moulded angle for accurate positioning.
  • Purpose made profiles available.
  • Can be attached to rear of built-in frames.
  • When not attached to frames the DPC has rigidity and is self-supporting.

Standard product features

Material:

1.5 mm thick stabilized DPC polyethylene; 25 mm thick expanded polystyrene insulation to BS 3837, K value 0.033 to 0.038 W/m·K (typical on sampled analysis).

Colour:

Black with white polystyrene.

Standard size/ profile:

245 mm wide DPC profiled to produce 20 mm 90° return, 200 mm wide flat and 25 mm splayed end. Non-standard profiles are available to order.

Product Options

Insulation also available in 50 mm thickness.
