The Schüco AWS 90 VV.SI+ (ventilation vent super insulation) window system with maximum thermal insulation is available as an opaque side-hung vent with ventilation function in different face widths. The extensive range of profiles available in the 90 mm system basic depth enables various side-hung vent solutions and ensures maximum flexibility in the system business. The vents can reach from floor to ceiling and remain permanently open during the summer, providing quick room ventilation and a high degree of architectural design freedom.

Energy-saving, automated night-time cooling and demand-driven, sensor-controlled ventilation can be implemented via a mechatronic opening. The vents' use as toplights also allows natural air to be exchanged while maintaining a pleasant ambient air climate – an economical alternative or supplement to ventilator-controlled ventilation.
