Stopgap 700 Superflex
Application

For best results, an overall thickness of at least 3 mm should be maintained.

Stopgap 700 Superflex is self-smoothing, and minimal work with a smoothing trowel is required; but any imperfections can be removed by rubbing with a carborundum stone as soon as the underlayment will accept foot traffic – typically one and a half hours after application at 20°C. This time will be extended with reduced temperatures, e.g. approximately three hours at 10°C.

Allow underlayment to dry before laying floorcoverings.

Description

A flexible, ultra-fast drying, fibre-reinforced, self-smoothing underlayment designed for use on plywood subfloors prior to installation of new floorcoverings. Resilient floorcoverings can be installed within as little as three hours at 20°C, making it ideal for fast track installations.

Primer:

All surfaces must be primed with dilute Stopgap P131 primer to prevent uncontrolled rapid drying of the underlayment. The primer must be allowed to dry before applying the smoothing underlayment.
