Application

  • Suitable for use in clinical and biologically sensitive areas such as hospitals, laboratories and clean rooms.
  • Can be used for patch filling timber floors prior to overlaying with plywood.
  • Suitable for application over damp, clean, uneven concrete and sand/ cement screeds, prior to the application of STOPGAP waterproof surface membranes or STOPGAP ISOLATOR MEMBRANE.
  • Can also be applied over other subfloor types including STOPGAP waterproof surface membranes, sand/ cement screed, concrete, granolithic, terrazzo, asphalt, steel, old vinyl asbestos tiles, epoxy and polyurethane resins, ceramic and quarry tiles.

Description

STOPGAP 1500 is a fast setting, fast drying, water-mix smoothing compound suitable for preparing sound internal subfloors prior to the installation of new floorcoverings.


STOPGAP 1500 can be applied directly over old adhesive residues such as bitumen and carpet tile tackifiers without the need for priming.
