Specification data - Single layer sheet warm roof covering systems

Preparation

-

Horizontal work

SA-19 Primer.

Guidance for specification option:

The substrate will be securely fixed, clean, dry, smooth and free of contaminants such as greases, animal fats, coal tar and oil-based products. All sharp edges, nibs and rough surfaces which could damage the membrane will be removed or otherwise isolated. Should the V-Gard MAX air and vapour control layer be used, the substrate will be prepared with Elevate SA-19 Primer.

Guidance for specification option:

See Type guidance above for details.

Insulation

-

Type

ISOGARD AK PIR Insulation.

Guidance for specification option:

Thermal conductivity: 0.023 W/m.K.

Thickness: 30–160 mm. Insert requirements.

Elevate ISOGARD AK insulation board consists of a closed-cell polyiso (PIR) foam core laminated on both sides to a gastight multi-layered aluminium complex.

ISOGARD MG PIR Insulation.

Guidance for specification option:

Thermal conductivity: 0.025–0.028 W/m.K.

Thickness: 30–160 mm. Insert requirements.

Elevate ISOGARD MG insulation board consists of a closed-cell polyiso (PIR) foam core laminated on both sides to a gasopen mineral glassfibre facer.

RESISTA AK PIR Insulation.

Guidance for specification option:

Thermal conductivity: 0.023 W/m.K.

Thickness: 30–160 mm. Insert requirements.

RESISTA AK PIR insulation board consists of a closed-cell polyiso (PIR) foam core laminated on both sides to a gastight multi-layered aluminium complex.

RESISTA MG PIR Insulation.

Guidance for specification option:

Thermal conductivity: 0.025–0.028 W/m.K.

Thickness: 30–160 mm. Insert requirements.

RESISTA MG PIR insulation board consists of a closed-cell polyiso (PIR) foam core laminated on both sides to a gasopen mineral glassfibre facer.

ISOGARD HD cover board.

Guidance for specification option:

An optional, lightweight, high-density polyiso (PIR) foam cover board of 12.7 mm thickness, with coated fiberglass facers to both sides, which is used to protect the insulation layer beneath and may also be used as a recovery board. It provides an optimum surface for fully adhered Elevate roofing membranes.

Manufacturer guidance

Consult the manufacturer's Technical Services Department for R-Value/U-value calculations as required.
