Application

Insulated pre-fabricated modular housing system that can be configured for single or multiple service penetrations for ductwork and/ or small pipes/ cables. Particularly suited to any Net Zero Carbon in Operation projects.

Prefabricated modular weathering cabinets.

Features and benefits:

  • Robust product design helps to eliminate the risk of air or water leaks caused by poor co-ordination of multiple trade interfaces.
  • Offsite manufactured solution supplied ready to install as standalone or multiple modules.
  • Modular approach means that multiple cabinets can be supplied as standalone or combined to form long housings.
  • Factory-controlled manufacture ensures a high level of quality is achieved with the detailing.
  • Range of standard sizes available, or custom configurations can be provided.
  • Fit-and-forget duct modules can be supplied with pre-installed ductwork bends, giving ductwork connection points above and below the roof airtight and weathering line. (Requires free-issue duct bends to the correct dimensions from mechanical services contractor).
  • Engineered and factory-sealed flashings to services provide an effective and durable air and water seal to the ducts.
  • Option of modules to suit hooded weathering cassettes for small cables and pipes, ventilation grilles and empty units for future services installation.
  • Polyester powder coating (PPC) provides a durable and long-lasting finish.
  • Insulated aluminium construction provides enhanced thermal performance and helps to prevent condensation.
  • Additional insulation can be applied to the duct bends if required (Requires free-issue duct insulation from the mechanical services contractor).
  • External fixing flanges provide for fixing the Integral Kerb unit directly to the structural roof deck.
  • Pre-fitted with skirt flashing, ready for installation of weathering membrane to base of unit by the roofing contractor.

Using the module with integral upstand saves the requirement for a site-formed kerb. This unit fixes directly to the structural roof, ready to accept roofing membrane.
